Local Food Festival Dedicated to the Diversity and Bounty of New England's Land and Sea

What is this?
This enriching food event is open to the public. We have invited 20+ of our favorite farmers, food artisans and food experts from Vermont (and one very special Main guest) to our farm to teach, enrich and please our palates. We have chocolate makers, vegetable farmers, cheese makers/farmers, oyster farmers (Maine), wine masters, Coffee makers, and more to come and teach us something they are passionate about. They were all given the instructions to help us learn saddle differences in the food they grow, love, make and/or farm.

When?
The final date is TBD but it will be a Sunday during harvesting season in September.

Does it cost money?
Yes, each participant will pay $10 (online ticket) or $15 (at the door) that will allow them to come at the farm and be part of this day long event.

At what time does it start?
We open the doors at 11 and close down at 6pm. You can come and linger (you can purchase food and drinks or bring your own). Please do not bring your own alcoholic beverages. We may have the license to serve alcohol and if not we will be serving non alcoholic beverages only.

How is this organized?
Each table will be on a 15 minute rotations so that every 15 minutes the host will begin the presentation of their product which will be accompanied by samples. The ticket you pay at the door allows you to participate to one presentation per vendor and the associated samples. You can also purchase the products you just tried right there at the vendor's table. You can leave any time and come back any time.

Other questions:
Many of the vendors are farmers that are part of the Farmers' Market. Why should I come there and pay a ticket to see them?
Yes, many (although not all) of the vendors are farmers or vendors you know from other markets, but here they have been asked to spend time sharing with you what they love the most and show you a way to taste things that you may not have known before. This is: meet your farmers at their best"!
