4th of July - Porchetta Roast Feast
This is the marriage between Italian and American traditions. We will make pork on a spit but Italian style: porchetta! ANd of course we are completely incapable of not having at least 3 courses so there will be appetizers, a primo, side dishes and of course dessert. We will use the same ingredients that usually appear in American's celebration of the 4th but we are proposing them using traditional Italian recipes. The event will be hosted both inside and outside so people can relax under the trees by the spit or can sit down in the cooler (and bug free) dining rooms. As always, this is a BYOB. This event will be a bit different from the others - stay tuned.
