we made meat pies!! We currently have two different types on offer: pulled pork meat pies and sausage hand pies.
MÉMÈRE'S MEAT PIES
Mémère is the grandmother of one of our farm assistants - she is a French-Canadian/Vermonter with just the right attitude. This is her secret spiced pulled pork and potato pie recipe, including a great British crust made with butter and leaf lard.
Small - 3.5 inch, good for 1 to 2 people: $6.5
Medium - 7 inch, good for 3 to 4 people: $9.5
SAUSAGE & RICOTTA HAND PIES
Each week we switch up the ingredients in these special hand pies. They always include our pasture-raised pork sausage, cheese and vegetables. Made with a classic flaky butter and lard crust. Perfect as a snack or an on-the-go meal.
